For some reason (maybe because I'm getting old) I was thinking your anniversary was a few days *after* Ian's birthday, which would give me time to get it right. Instead, I got them both wrong. I have certainly had you fondly and lovingly on my mind though. I am sure your anniversary was happy--and my wishes are warm for all that they're belated. CONGRATULATIONS!

And Lily--for the win! Where DID you find that card?

Love, Betsy

I have always loved this quote by President McKay. You can't talk about marriage without talking about families. John and I have learned a lot from each other and all of our children, their spouses and now our grandchildren.

"The home is the first and most effective place to learn the lessons of life: truth, honor, virtue, self control, the value of education, honest work, and the purpose and privilege of life. Nothing can take the place of home in rearing and teaching children, and no other success can compensate for failure in the home.”
― David O. McKay

Happy Anniversary! Thank you so very much for the sacrifices and love that you make for each other and the family. I'm so grateful for the knowledge I have of forever families, and for the opportunity to be apart of one that strives to make it back together. Thank you for being loving, and for being so willing to have a family. I love you both very dearly. :purebliss:

I believe there are a few anniversary threads for Mom and Dad, so I thought I'd bump this one back up while we're at it. Love to our lovely parents!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my wonderful, dear, beloved brother and sister!
(I bet y'all thought brothers and sisters couldn't get married. Well, they can't. Yet my brother is married to my sister. 'Tis a puzzlement.)
