My uncle, my mother's brother died this past Thursday. He was born July 16, 1920 and died May 27, 2010. He was diagnosed with leukemia two weeks ago. I have fond memories of Tio Reynaldo (he hated his first name Carmelo) his wife Chavy and their three children, my cousins: Eliana, Reynaldo and Pepe. When we lived in Lima, Peru his family lived very near us. He was a wonderful dentist and good brother to my mother.

seems so sudden, grandma was just there. i didn't know carmelo was his first name.
