Re: Gun Control
My heart goes out to those people affected by this tragedy. My prayer is that the influence of the gospel, the comfort of the spirit, and the love of Christ will help them to recover from these catastrophic events. Where is "Ian the news reporter's" update on the latest mass shooting? Did ...

Re: Transgender Bathroom Policy
I for one am against this policy; no child, nor anybody for that matter, should be forced to confront the objectionable lifestyle choices of others in what should be the most safe and private of circumstances. I find this policy an affront to the well-being and security of children everywhere.

Re: Gun Control
but frankly, YOU are not a psychiatrist, and marrying one does not count. Haha. It actually counts for quite a lot. But not in the way you think. I am baffled as to why my family has completely robbed me of any license to discuss the topic AT ALL. Oh well. I shall press forward with nary a care - y...

Re: Gun Control
I have more proof that our current legal system around guns is failing, and that gun restriction could work, than you can provide proof that our current system is "working" and that we are somehow more safe by having more guns. Define "deranged". I want as much information on th...

Re: Gun Control
I think it's important to raise awareness of this issue, which is very real, but I wonder about the change you state is so desperately needed. Don't get me wrong, I fully understand that as a nation we have a massive job to do if we are to get back on the right course, but if I am reading correctly,...

Re: Help us, O God, to Understand
Bryn asked me to add a few verses to this text from the Children's Songbook (page 73) entitled Help us, O God, to Understand . I thought about various directions to take it for a few days, but in the end the added verses came to me in their completed forms almost entirely as you see here only this m...

Help us, O God, to Understand 1. Help us, O God, to understand Our Savior's love for us. He paid the price for all our sins And died upon the cross. 2. We read thy words and feel thy pow'r Leading mankind to Thee; Lighting the way which guides us to God Yet thou to Calvary ... 3. Meekly, the Lamb b...

Re: Board Games vs. Parlor Games
I agree. In fact, I don't enjoy playing those games when they are made competitive. I frankly don't like competition of any kind, so when it is a part of outburst or charades or whatever, it isn't fun for me anymore. That's one reason I REALLY don't like playing board games; sitting around a table d...
