Re: Cartoon Memories
I can't think of any cartoon that gave me more nightmares and trauma as a child than this very "show" - and I was scared of a LOT of stuff, mind you. Just seeing this clip again is enough to bring up a host of terrifying memories. I remember this show VERY well - the kidnapped children, the hero-guy with his blue cape, the flying golden hawk/airplane, the narrator with his cold voice from the un-dead - this show positively haunted my earliest memories. I can't believe this was ever dug up again.

Whoops. I'd never heard of it. I posted it here at Lily's request.

Actually, I found it interesting. Probably a prequel to puma man.

Re: Cartoon Memories
Yes, it was I. For some reason I had a strong memory of the opener and the golden condor ship thing, but couldn't remember a single episode, plot line, or character. Haha!
Re: Cartoon Memories
Not that this will make it any less bizarre, but the show was a 1970's French anime series based on the Spanish conquest of Mexico but incorporating futuristic technology. I am not making this up.
