Thanks all. I love my present. It's the musical soundtrack of Hugo Friedhofer's Oscar-nominated score from "The Bishop's Wife" and I read in the album booklet that the manuscripts to this beautiful score are in the BYU library and are available for perusal. Boy, would I love to get my hands on a few of those pieces for adaptation.

Once again, thanks.

btw, Friedhofer won the Oscar the year before "Bishop's Wife" (1947) for his moving and tender score for "The Best Years of Our Lives" which also won for Best Picture. His scoring is very sensitive.

Yes, that last picture is sweetness. We probably won't see much of that shocked face here in Utah, but oh, we will party nonetheless!
