I feel that any anniversary after 30 years is a milestone. I am truly blessed to have met John 34 years ago (we were engaged for a year) and made the best decision in my life to marry him. :faramireowyn:

Another year, another anniversary. I think I speak for all of your children when I say that the blessings of your marriage have not been yours alone. Thank you for your beautiful example! Happy 34th Anniversary!

Thank you both. What better way to celebrate our 34th anniversary than to work at the temple and be asked to be the witness couple. To make life more exciting Dad and I were veil workers for three patrons who only spoke french, so dad and I helped them through the veil in FRENCH!!!

I have learned in 35 years of marriage that true love is about - :inlove:
Gratitude
Forgiveness
Sacrifice
Repentance
Constant Communication
and
An Everlasting Covenant in the Temple

Shakespeare I feel not only understood love but marriage as well. I love sonnet 116. Than you John for "never shaken".
SONNET 116

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

Another happy, happy anniversary to you, Dad and Mom! Thanks for the legacy you are leaving us. I don't really get this card (dishes haven't been thrown and broken?), but it still seems relevant. Maybe? Loves!
