I'm having a hard time believing that John and I have been married 30 - years today. Specially since my parents din't even make it to their 12th anniversary. Growing up I thought being married past ten years only happened in fairy tales. My purpose is not to gloat but to testify that it is still possible, extremely hard but very possible. Thanks to our dear family who have made John and I the richest couple in the world.

To Mom and Dad, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yours is what I consider to be the truly ideal marriage, and the model of a succeeding home. May you be blessed with another thirty years of bliss!

I should have responded much earlier to all the well-wishing.
But thanks, all.
Happiest day of my life was the day Mom indicated she would deign to marry me.
"Music's golden tongue flatter'd to tears this aged man and poor."
Happy anniversary! Thirty years, wow. Of all the things to sneeze at, that is not one. Of things that a stick can be shaken at, that is more. Congratulations!
One of the many blessings of marriage is having children, not just having children, but discovering the wonderful friendship that Dad and I have been blessed to have with our children. One such person is our Betsy who will be 21 years old, Thursday the 25th of January. Happy Birthday!Betsy
