I'm pretty sure her name will be Philippa but till it's official we will call her baby girl. She was born today around 9:20 am she weighed 9lbs. 1oz. and is 19 1/2" long. Both Mom and baby are doing well

reece is an anglicized form of rhys which is definitely a boy's name, but i understand it comes from micah's grandmother. anyway congratulations betsy and micah!

My sister Emily chose Reese as her son's middle name in March! Crazy coincidences! So, is there a difference between "Reece" and "Reese"? They're both pulled from Rhys obviously, but when did girls start using one or the other?

reese started to become popular as a girl's name about ten years ago, and has risen steadily in popularity since then. reece is very rare as a girl's name.
