I found a few sites that offer a significant number of children's books from long ago, complete with beautiful illustrations. Many of these books sell for $100+ so it was neat that they've been digitized so we can see them.

As I skimmed through a few titles, it occurred to me just how much better the writing was back then. Obscure titles I'd never heard of still provided a moment of satisfaction after reading just a page or two.
