I wish people would pass out almond roca to trick-or-treaters....
Re: Happy Halloween!
I wholeheartedly endorse Lily's choice.

Re: Happy Halloween!
Lily will tell you that I'm a variety guy. I'd like a little piece of everything! I used to eat through my surpluses so I'd have a balanced candy selection I could enjoy for the next few weeks (who am I kidding? It was actually just a few days).

I don't like candy. Except nerds.

Re: Happy Halloween!
i've always liked reece's peanut butter cups and butterfingers.
so let it be written... so let it be done.
Re: Happy Halloween!
I like reece's peanut butter cups, tangy taffy (which hasn't been made in years, so I substitute it with the big laffy taffy by willy wonka), snickers (the ones with almonds are my preference), and twix.
I'm a little weird, I actually really like my candy to be fresh from the refrigerator. I think it's because the candy takes longer to eat, so I get to enjoy it longer. We sort of always have a stash of candy in the house but I tend to keep some in the cupboard and some on the kitchen table, it's just not as appealing to me at room temperature.
A good piece of toffee seems more than to be labeled as simply candy.

Re: Happy Halloween!
as mom mentioned in another thread, i had another injury to my left eye. Fortunately, it's not that bad and should fully recover. This does, however, mean I'll probably have to be a pirate again for Halloween.

Haha...shoulda read this thread first. Hope you kept that eye patch, matey! Take care!
Re: Happy Halloween!
if all goes well, Oliver will be a "funny clown" (circa 1920's Venice), Simon will be a pirate, and Hugh will be either a monkey or a ninja (depending on the weather).
Re: Happy Halloween!
That's my typical daily decision when I'm getting ready: "Monkey or ninja this morning?" The 20's Venice clown might give me a third option, though, so thanks guys!

Re: Happy Halloween!
This is the game plan for Halloween 2012
Oliver - rooster (Foghorn Leghorn)
Simon - clown
Hugh - either a ghost or a pirate
Rhys - baby
